CODARRA MANAGES DELIVERY OF HQJOC’S TECHNOLOGY FOR INITIAL OCCUPATION
The new HQJOC facility near Bungendore will accept its first occupants on Monday 17 November 2008. The design and delivery of the HQJOC information and communications systems have been managed by an integrated Codarra Advanced Systems and Department of Defence team. The systems are extraordinarily complex and their delivery for the initial occupation has been an outstanding feat of engineering project management. Warren Williams, Managing Director of Codarra, said that “Codarra is proud to have been responsible for managing the design and delivery of the HQJOC systems in time for the initial occupation. The Defence and Codarra staff formed a cohesive and committed team that worked closely with the prime systems integrator Thales and the building supplier Praeco to deliver this facility.” “This project is testament to the world class project management and engineering capabilities of Codarra and Australian industry and is a model project for Defence and industry collaboration.” Codarra is a consulting, training and solutions provider and has offices throughout Australia. It currently employs 90 staff and provides services to government and industry clients in the ICT sector.
