MSP Advanced Practitioner Course

MSP-Managing Successful Programmes, is fast becoming the benchmark for programme management certification.

Codarra delivers the following MSP training:

  • MSP Foundation
  • MSP Practitioner, and
  • MSP Advanced Practitioner.

“Codarra’s Advanced Practitioner MSP SeminarCodarra’s consolidated MSP course is designed to prepare students for all three levels of accreditation (Foundation, Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner). If the Advanced Practitioner exam is taken with the Foundation/Practitioner combination preparation for it will be conducted throughout the course. For those students taking the Advanced practitioner exam separately, preparation is conducted in a seminar format over two days with the exam being taken on the second day. Students will be provided with the official APMG Case Study to be used in the Advanced Practitioner exam as well as activities and advice, facilitated by our experienced and qualified trainers/consultants, to prepare them for the exam itself.

The Advanced Practitioner ExaminationThe Advanced Practitioner exam is an open book (no electronic reference material), written (essay style) exam based on the official APMG Case Study. Students have 2.5 hours in which to answer three questions with a total of 75 marks possible. They are required to achieve a pass mark of 50% (or 38/75) to pass.

Pre-qualification requirementsTo progress to the Advanced Practitioner qualification students will be required to achieve a pass mark of 60% (if the exam was taken prior to 1st March 2008 then 50%) in the Foundation exam and 50% in the Practitioner exam. Please note that students sitting all examinations in the same block that pass the Advanced Practitioner but fail the Practitioner examination will have 24 months in which to successfully resit the Practitioner level exam. Failure to do so will require them to re-sit both the Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner exams.”

PRINCE2 Training

Codarra delivers PRINCE2 Practitioner training courses over five continuous days with the Foundation course forming the first four days followed by a Practitioner Seminar on the morning of day five and the examination in the afternoon.

If a student prefers to delay the examination for additional prior study time, he or she may advise the trainer on day four, and arrangements will be made to return at a later date.

From experience, Codarra maintains that any people who do not have sound project management experience, should attend the five day course rather than a shorter four day course due to the amount of information and home study that is included in the curriculum.

Anyone wishing an insight into PRINCE2 may contact us at: training@codarra.com.au or call 02 61281100 for a consultant to discuss the training with you.
