PRINCE2 Training

Codarra delivers PRINCE2 Practitioner training courses over five continuous days with the Foundation course forming the first four days followed by a Practitioner Seminar on the morning of day five and the examination in the afternoon.

If a student prefers to delay the examination for additional prior study time, he or she may advise the trainer on day four, and arrangements will be made to return at a later date.

From experience, Codarra maintains that any people who do not have sound project management experience, should attend the five day course rather than a shorter four day course due to the amount of information and home study that is included in the curriculum.

Codarra Manages Delivery of HQJOC's Technology for Initial Occupation

ADF Transitioning Training Package
Codarra Advanced Systems offers ADF personnel, who are transitioning out of the services, a training package of the following courses:
  • PRINCE2 for Practitioners, or Diploma of Project Management
plus
  • Specification Writing Best Practice, and
  • Understanding Capability Concepts

Total package fee is $3,700.00 including GST

 

Codarra has training facilities in the ACT Region, Melbourne and Sydney and employs fully accredited trainers with backgrounds in engineering, project management, Defence and corporate services.

 The ADF Transition Training has been packaged to provide personnel who are transitioning out of the ADF, courses that will provide them with project management accreditation  and document writing skills to enable them to resettle into a government or private sector role.

PRINCE2 has been adopted as a benchmark methodology for project management across many federal and state government departments , as well as private sector organisations.

Diploma of Project Management is PMBoK aligned methodology that is certified by the Australian Institute of Project Management; and has been adopted by Defence-DMO, Centrelink, Airservices Australia, Medicare and many other organisations.

 Specification Writing Best Practice has been developed by Codarra to provide skills to Defence Desk Officers and contractors who are engaged in capability development and joint projects across the defense industry.

Understanding Capability Concepts has also been developed by Codarra to provide educated insight into Operational Capability Documentation writing for personnel who are new to the OCD space.

Systems Engineering

Codarra's systems engineers are experienced across the complete capability life-cycle, from concept development through to system production.

Software Development

Codarra's team of software engineers have a wide range of software development skills and expertise. The team has developed a diverse range of applications over the last six years. These include:

  • the Electrical Loads Application;
  • The C4I Architecture Tool (CAT), used to assist in the development of Defence systems architectures; and
  • a range of databases supporting our assignments.

Systems Solutions

Codarra's Systems Solutions Division has a strong team of engineers with extensive system design, prototyping, building and testing skills and experience.Codarra's systems integration capabilities are clearly demonstrated in our range of products, including ELA and AVATAR.   We have also developed and integrated digital facsimile interface devices (Project PARAKEET) and a range of surveillance systems with tightly integrated communications systems.
